Creative Butterfly was born from my own journey—one marked by deep challenges, transformation, and the healing power of creative expression. Like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, I’ve navigated the raw and real moments that shape who we are and who we become.
Throughout my life, I’ve experienced the weight of generational trauma, childhood emotional neglect (CEN), emotional and verbal abuse in relationships, miscarriage, and a diagnosis of advanced-stage cancer. These experiences have not only tested me—they’ve transformed me. They've given me a grounded, compassionate lens through which I view the world: one that honours both struggle and strength.
I believe that what people need most during difficult times is not judgment, guilt, or shame—but kindness, presence, and support.
Art therapy became a lifeline for me—first as a client, and then as a practitioner. It offered a safe, creative space to explore my inner world and reclaim my voice. This work ignited something in me: a passion for life, and a deep purpose to help others connect with their own healing, insight, and sense of self.
This is the heart of Creative Butterfly Expressive Arts Therapy.
If art therapy feels like a path you'd like to explore for yourself or a loved one, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
With creative kindness,
Fi
